"I hope I will never have to come to another one," said Easterly who had driven 6 1/ 2 hours from Lonpoc, CA to find a job at the "Hiring For Heroes" event at the Clarion Hotel & Conference Center. More than 40 employers were on-site looking to provide jobs for veterans from various backgrounds. The program started in 2011 to find jobs for U.S. military personnel and or their spouses.
