Persistent and at times heavy rain continue to drench Sacramento - as brave shoppers go about their day on West Sacramento Thursday afternoon. A power-packed Pacific storm pushed into Northern California, bringing sideways wind gusts of up to 50 mph and threatening to dump up to an inch of rain by Friday morning, the National Weather Service said.
